<h5>What to Know About MIPIM Cannes?</h5>
MIPIM is the premier real estate event, gathering the most influential players from all sectors of the international property industry. The event takes place in Cannes on March 12-15, 2019. Some 26,600 participants and more than 360 speakers are expected from 100 different countries, while the Startup Competition offers young companies the chance to show their innovative and promising ideas.
<h5>What is the MIPIM Startup Competition?</h5>
The MIPIM Startup Competition in Cannes gathers the six best property technology startups from around the world as they attempt to tackle the most pressing urban challenges. The 2019 edition held semifinal events in Paris (European round), New York (American round), and Hong Kong (Asian round) where the selected startups pitched their ideas and business models.

Our journey started in June 2018 when Spaceti became one of two Parisian semi-finalists and made it to the final six. It genuinely feels like an Oscar nomination. I know! It’s a big deal!

The other finalists are Sensonberg, District, Neoma, Tatami, and Kwant.Ai. Obviously, the winner takes all and becomes the best global property technology startup; basically a superstar.

So that’s what’s ahead of us. The biggest challenge and event of the year. Wish us luck!

Are you coming to Cannes? Join us for the final where Spaceti will be represented by CBO and Co-Founder Aakash Ravi. The competition starts on Wednesday, March 13th at 4 p.m. in the Grand Auditorium.

Or just meet us every day at our stand P-1.B73. We shoot episodes of our Proptech Talks in the mornings and we offer a presentation about Spaceti and a Czech beer tasting at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
